: Musicians Bob Geldof and Bono were once superheroes in the advocacy for more humanitarian aid and debt for the world’s poor countries.  Armed with images of starving babies, they travelled the world, met with world leaders and raise millions.  But did their noble moves make a difference?

Bob Geldof and Bono have been the most prominent voices advocating on behalf of the world’s poor.  But have their concerts and campaigns really lifted millions out of poverty?  Can celebrity be a force for positive change?
